The University of New Hampshire is investigating a case of sexual assault on the university’s Durham campus that happened last Monday. The victim alleged they were drugged by the suspect.
“The impacted party described possibly having their drink drugged during the incident,” UNH police said in the news release. “The suspect and impacted party were known to each other.”
Another case emerged Tuesday where the same suspect was involved in drugging another person, according to the news release.
As of last Wednesday, the school has identified a person of interest, who they say is a student at UNH.
The UNH police issued the following safety tips for students after the incidents:

Be alert to people pressuring alcohol or other drug consumption.

Get familiar with the blue phones located across campus in case you need to use one.

Call UNH Police at 603-862-1212 for a safety escort or other assistance.

If you feel uneasy or sense something is wrong, call 911 for assistance.
