New Hampshire Republicans are trying to kill key portions of Senate Bill 499, an anti-hunger bill that would provide expanded food assistance to families in NH.
🍛The bill passed the Senate in a bipartisan fashion, but was amended to exclude almost all funding necessary to support Summer EBT—a federal program that would provide grocery benefits to families with school children during the summer. Almost 37,000 children in New Hampshire will be eligible for Summer EBT, data show.
