Two years ago, New Hampshire resident Kelly had to make the unexpected decision to seek an abortion at 18 weeks because of a fatal fetal anomaly. Despite being medically insured, the abortion would have cost her almost $4,000 out of pocket.

“I probably would have had to look for financial assistance from either friends or family or make a payment plan,” she said, adding that she discovered the Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire just two days before her procedure.

The organization helps patients by fully funding abortions and overcoming other financial barriers, such as transportation costs, childcare costs, lost wages, meal assistance, etc.
