The Fisher Cats Thanksgiving 5K
More than 8,000 runners have worn Thanksgiving attire for this 5K race, which started in 2011 to raise money for The Fisher Cats Foundation, an organization that supports all types of nonprofit organizations. The course heads out of the Delta Dental Stadium and incorporates a loop through Manchester’s historic millyard.
GDTC Turkey Trot
This race, celebrating its 50th anniversary, takes you clockwise around the residential roads of Beaver Lake, a popular residential location in Derry, located on Route 102. Entrants are required to bring a nonperishable food item.
Keene Wobble Gobble Run
The 4-mile Wobble Gobble Run supports the Keene High School girls’ cross country and track team. The fun family gathering invites participants of all ages to amble through a predominantly paved and sidewalk-lined route in downtown Keene.The first 500 registrants receive a t-shirt.
Dover Turkey Trot
The Dover Turkey Trot, celebrating its 10-year anniversary, raises money for the The Garrison School PTA, which provides money for student enrichment activities, family and community events, classroom supplies, artist in residency programs and anything else that may fall outside of the school district’s budget.
