Actor and comedian Adam Sandler paid a visit to his hometown over the weekend.

Sandler kicked off his visit Friday night with dinner at The Puritan Backroom in Manchester, where he posed for a photo with the restaurant’s staff. The Puritan, a James Beard award-winning restaurant co-owned by Congressman Chris Pappas, shared the moment on social media.

“It’s always a wonderful surprise when Adam swings by the Puritan for dinner!” the restaurant posted. “Thanks for stopping by last night and saying hello to all of our staff!”

Sandler formerly worked in the Puritan’s ice cream shop as a kid. The next morning, Sandler was spotted having brunch at Firefly Bistro & Bar in Manchester. The restaurant shared their excitement on social media, along with a picture of Sandler. The post read, “Had a very special guest stop by for brunch this morning!”

He also posed for a picture with a fan at the Pressed Cafe in Bedford.

But it wasn’t just his local stops that got people talking—it was his choice of attire. In every sighting, Sandler sported a puffy green jacket, despite the warm November temperatures, which were in the upper 50s.

“It’s not that cold out!” one social media user joked, as others began tracking Sandler’s appearances based on his now-famous green jacket.
